Major Widens Reach into American South and Midwest with New Dealers
Major Equipment Intl Ltd, manufacturers of award-winning agricultural implements and commercial equipment, announced today the addition of four dealerships to its US network. The new additions make it possible for Major Equipment to serve farming families across the American South and parts of the Midwest.
The new dealerships are:
- Don Medlin Company – Caruthersville, Missouri (www.donmedlinco.com)
- J&B Tractor Company – Waynesboro, Georgia (www.jandbtractor.com)
- Quality Equipment, LLC – Fuquay-Varina (HQ), North Carolina (www.qualityequip.com)
- Robstown Hardware Company – Robstown, Texas (www.robstownhardware.com)
The dealers will be distributing the exceptionally versatile MAJOR Cyclone Rotary Cutter / Multi-Crop Shredder. Its ‘blender-style’ blade system is perfect for shredding crops such as cotton and wheat stubble – but with 50% less HP requirement than a similar-sized flail – and is equally suitable for clearing grass, weeds, and brush. The 18ft model only requires a 110hp tractor, less than half the power needed to operate a similar sized flail shredder.
As an authorized dealer of MAJOR-branded equipment, they are also able to offer parts, service and maintenance across their respective locations.
“These businesses are deep-rooted in their communities and have established reputations for creating longstanding value for their customers, which stands for everything we do,” says Martin Walsh, US Sales Manager at Major Equipment. “I’m delighted to be working with them and showing how our products can help their customers.”
Major Equipment also launches the official website of the MAJOR Cyclone Rotary Cutter / Multi-crop Shredder (www.major-usa.com). The new site will serve as a central hub for product updates, information and customer stories about the MAJOR Cyclone for US audiences. Users can also download operator manuals and product guides, as well as request additional customer support. Customers in the US who have purchased MAJOR products are advised to register their machinery through this site. An interactive dealer locator function makes it easy to find the growing list of dealers in the US.
“The growth and expansion we have achieved in the past year reflect the tremendous demand for our products in the US,” begins Eoin Murphy, New Markets Manager at Major Equipment. “The new website and the marketing supports we provide to the new dealers who have just joined our network demonstrate our strong commitment to the US market and indicate the investments we are prepared to make to continue this trajectory of growth.”
