When looking for a versatile, hardworking machine, look no further than the award-winning Cyclone Rotary Cutter. This heavy duty machine has similar mulching capabilities of a flail mower but with much less power requirements and faster forward working speeds. From traditional pasture topping to clearing crop stubble, these machines are equally at home in set aside acres, forestry margin management and maintaining CRP land.
Each rotor has four blades made of high-grade hardened steel for powerful ‘blender-style’ mulching but with 50% less HP required than a similar-sized flail. The 18ft model only requires a 110HP tractor, less than half the power needed to operate a flail mower which means 50% fuel savings upfront.

Cutting rotors are spaced 2 ¼ feet apart, doubling the number of heads found in batwing mowers to ensure any material is cut cleanly and evenly spread with no windrows. The double-chop blade system eliminates the need to carry multiple blade sets for crop stalks and other applications.
The Major Cyclone is suitable for pasture maintenance, weeds, brush, and scrub. It also easily manages crop stubble including cotton, corn, sorghum and barley.
The MAJOR Cyclone is manufactured using high performance Strenx® 700 MC structural steel. This materials’ high strength and consistent properties allows it to take higher payloads and as a result makes the Major Cyclone stronger, lighter, safer and more sustainable. Combined with hot-dip galvanization to EN ISO 1461:2009 specifications, the Cyclone Shredder is guaranteed impact tough. Hardox® 450 abrasion-resistant steel discs protect the high-grade hardened spring steel blade system while the shredder is working.
The Cyclone incorporates important operational safety features. Thick rubber curtains line the deck at the front and on top of the rear roller. This combined with steel deflectors prevent foreign objects from being flung out from the rotors.
The Cyclone has wings that hydraulically fold up for safe and easy transport between sites.
